The sandy soil is soft and not very grassy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<strong>Soil preparation<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>is practiced in a traditional way: no ploughing, hoeing is done manually when necessary, chemical \"weeding\" is excluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<strong>Fertilisation<\/strong> is provided exclusively in organic form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the major elements necessary for the vine, organic fertilizer provides a \"balanced\" diet for the stock, which ensures better \"health\" (increased resistance to disease) and higher quality production; the life of soil micro-organisms is also promoted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organic forms of fertilizer mainly use composted chicken manure to feed the soil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"990\" height=\"441\" src=\"https:\/\/vinsdessables.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/vignes.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-247\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kurayoshiwinery.eyokoso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/vignes.jpg 990w, https:\/\/kurayoshiwinery.eyokoso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/vignes-300x134.jpg 300w, https:\/\/kurayoshiwinery.eyokoso.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/vignes-768x342.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 990px) 100vw, 990px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The pruning<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>is done during the winter period when the plants are in vegetative rest and the sap has descended.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The trellising <\/strong>The trellising is the operation which consists in passing the branches behind the trellising wires to hold them. The vine is installed on wires, in the form of <strong>Royat cordon trellis<\/strong> traditional<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Grape harvest<\/strong> is done manually. The nakama and the guests participate over several days in the harvest where everything is done by hand. Only the transport of the grapes to the place of vinification is done by truck.
