Kurayoshi Winery
Kurayoshi Winery is a winemaking facility housed in a renovated former merchant's residence, where one can feel the retro influences and charm of this area that has been designated as a national preservation district for traditional building groups. By the very appearance of this merchant's house, which has been used since the Meiji era as a Japanese sake brewery, visitors can experience a space steeped in history.
Cellar
In our wine store, we offer tastings of wines created in the cellar and you can choose your favorite bottle. We also offer elegant and useful wine glasses and wine accessories.
Wine bar
On the second floor, we have created a "wine bar", where visitors can enjoy a glass of our wines with local cuisine, while watching the winemaking activities below. Enjoy some elegant moments in this antique and retro space.
Wine tanks
At the Winery, we have invested in state-of-the-art equipment, but our winemaking method is based on the concept of gravity. At our Kurayoshi Winery, we strive to create great "wines of Japan" using traditional hand winemaking methods while working in a traditional environment.
